St Spyridon College is a well-established, independent co-educational K-12 day school, with an enrolment of approximately 800 students, based on two campuses in South East Sydney.  It is the first Greek Orthodox College to be established in New South Wales.

St Spyridon College invites qualified, inspiring, educational leaders with expertise and passion for the pursuit of Academic Excellence to apply for the above position, commencing Term 1, 2021.  This role may include some teaching in the applicant’s area of expertise.

The Dean of Studies is responsible to the Head of College. The successful applicant will:

  • Lead the development and implementation of the Years 7 to 12 Curriculum, incorporating Stage 5, Preliminary, HSC, VET, and Workplace Learning.
  • Provide Leadership to the Curriculum Leaders and Teachers in order to enhance shared professional innovation that will lead to maximized student learning outcomes and life choices.
  • Assume responsibility for the educational life and well-being of students in the Years 10, 11 and 12 (Upper School Students).
  • Assume responsibility for organizational and administrative matters pertaining to senior studies and all NESA requirements.
