Scholarship Application Requirements
If you are interested in having your child sit for a scholarship, please register by following the procedure outlined below. ACER online applications open on Monday, 23 September 2024. The scholarship fee is $160. Registrations close on Sunday 2 February 2025.
Details of Testing
The scholarship test will be held on Saturday 22 February 2025 at St Spyridon College Senior Campus, 1130 Anzac Parade, Maroubra. Beginning at 8.30 a.m. and finishing at approximately 12.00 p.m.
At St Spyridon College we are pleased to offer scholarships at the following levels:
Year 7 2026 ACER Scholarships
To be offered to candidate(s) that perform(s) at highest standard in external ACER examinations. Both existing and external candidates are eligible to apply. The tenure of this scholarship will be for 4 years and will be reviewed annually. Continuity of offer will be based on the following criteria:
- Demonstrated diligent and sustained effort in their studies;
- The candidate is in the top 6 placements of their year; and
- Exemplary conduct.
If this criteria is not met, the Scholarship may be suspended for the following year. It may be reinstated in a subsequent year if the criteria is met.
ACER Test Level 1
Designed for students to sit the test during their final year of primary school for entry into first year of secondary school in the following year (entry into year 7 in NSW, ACT, Tas, WA and Vic or entry into year 8 in QLD and SA). The tests are also suitable for entry into second year of secondary school.
Year 11 2026 ACER Scholarships
To be offered to candidate(s) that perform(s) at highest standard in external ACER examinations. Both existing and external candidates are eligible to apply. The tenure of this scholarship will be for 2 years. Continuity of Scholarship to Year 12 will be subject to the following conditions:
- Demonstrated diligent and sustained effort in their studies;
- High Academic Performance; and
- Exemplary conduct.
